It was an independent reading book, and we only have to write a paragraph and submit it to some book site. Fortunately, you’re not supposed to put spoilers in there, so it was really easy to make up stuff. I just complained about the fact that I didn’t understand most of the language (seriously, sometimes I just go “wtf are they trying to say”) but made up some stuff about how it sets the tone for the time period and immerses the reader or something.
I enjoyed thows books in my youth… not that i’m not really in my youth now >.> .>

Reminds me of when I read the first two chapters of a book and wrote a paper based off of that. I did surprisingly.
Also, can’t forget about Annoying Friend. That character makes me lol every time I see her in the “A Day in the Life of Unnamed Character”.

Btw, my hs required us to go in for regular classes during regents week, even if we didn’t have tests.
Maybe Marisa should have been the one fighting Tom Sawyer cuz she seems to bo the one getting all the girls so Tom would compite against her more than compete against Reimu xD.
Anyeways reading books is only fun if your the onw whi wants to read them and is not because your teacher told you so. In my case my mom is always likke “you have to read this book or else” XD
