SAT prep (RTFQ)

I went to the SAT prep thing today, at 3:30. I got out at 1:30, so I had two hours to do stuff. I ended up going to the art room and finishing some of the stuff I haven’t finished, and then I went to the auditorium and sat there watching people do things. SAT prep started, I went to the room, and got two really huge books (one of them was like, some book with 11 practice SAT exams, and the other one was like… the thing they use to teach).

It’s not as boring as I thought it’d be. The guy teaching it has a nice sense of humor, always making jokes and whatnot. The thing in the flash actually happened, and everyone was like “wow you’re stupid” and the teacher dude was like “It stands for… fill in the blank. Read the fill in the blank question.” Quite lulz. If there were stand-up comedians who did things about SATs, I think this guy would probably be one.

I got my practice SAT (the one I did on Saturday) back, and I got either an 1860 or a 1932. I’m saying “or” because I’m not sure whether I should include “grammar” and “essay” in the total score, or if they’re part of the writing score. I think it is, so I probably got a 1860. 660 in math, 590 in reading, 610 in writing (64 in grammar and 8 out of 12 in essay). Way better than I thought I’d get, especially for the essay. I didn’t even get to finish it! Pretty awesome.

Yeah, I guess that’s it. Oh right, and just as a very unimportant note, one of my books of graph paper ran out of… graph paper, and so I took off the… ah it’s kinda hard to explain. But I took the spine thing out and it was pretty cool. Carried it around with me all day. Then I got a deck of cards (well, 35 cards found scattered across the auditorium) and started putting them in there. It was cool.
