Buying Walfas file folders

Talka gave a bunch of file folders to a friend to sell overseas, so if you wanted one (for a slightly higher price than originally advertised, due to shipping prices), here is your chance! Here’s what NForza has to say!

“The Aki Sisters one will go for $6.50 shipped and the other two (first one, second one) will go for $5 shipped. If they order more than 1 it’ll be a better value though, only another $3 or $4 per additional folder.” And he only takes Paypal. If you would like to order some, or would like some more information, send an email to NForza at the email address below.

Update (8/27/2009): Create.swf folders have sold out!

  • How long does it last?

  • I have informed him of this post, and he will possibly post some answers to some questions eventually!

  • …Man, wish I had some money right now.

  • ….hmm…. should I use the money I got from tutoring those evil fourth graders on this?

i saw a walfas folder being sold at AX 09…

20 bucks ._.” or was it 10 i dont remember, but it was expensive as heck D8!

  • These will last as long as there is stock. Currently the most limited ones are the Aki Sisters and the All Character files.

  • Fuuuuu I never saw them at AX09!
    Anyway, ordering one…hundred. Or less.

    (it’s catcatcar from twitter, btw)

yeah it was hidden beneath another folder xDDD but all the touhou merchandises were so expensive x.x!

  • @NoWaiThatsImpossible:O

Yeah. I was the sucker that bought an Orin keychain for $10. >__>

  • $10 for a keychain isn’t too bad actually. More than $15 would’ve been.

  • Is because of Comiket, all Walfas merchandise out of stock? Searching all Akiba brings me nothing…. Now, waiting for credit card to buy one..

  • heh, I already got mine at comiket. :D

  • Um, what happened to the Touhou-Walfas T-Shirts? It’s been a while since they were announced…

  • @KirbyM: I’m guessing from context that Nforza understands English well enough, so here’s hoping I get a response soon…

@h: Shortly after the shirts were announced, Zazzle decided they couldn’t carry the shirts because of potential copyright infringement. Unfortunately, the rules on Touhou derivative works clearly state that for sale of Touhou-based items in a non-convention setting, one needs ZUN’s explicit permission.

I drafted a letter on KirbyM’s behalf to ZUN back when the problem first came up. I sent it and got no response, then sent it again 3-4 weeks later. Of course, this was about the time the UFO demo version was released. I asked Talka for help, since he’s in Japan and was seeing ZUN at several of the conventions, but Talka apparently didn’t see ZUN at all after that, plus his RL schedule got busier.

Now, of course, ZUN’s only just completed the final version of UFO and been through Comic Market. I’m hoping that once he has a few days to recover and (maybe) sober up, he’ll check his email and respond. If I don’t hear from him by Friday, I’ll try asking again.

  • Sprocket: I should hope I understand English well enough, considering I’m from the US…

  • @Nforza: Gah, don’t sneak up on me like that!

Anyways, I didn’t want to assume either way. (Being from the U.S. doesn’t always equal solid understanding of English and vice-versa, I’ve found…)

  • I wonder if you can get legal consent/contract from some one who could be in a constant state of drunkeness :O

  • The all-character folders have sold out! Thanks!

  • How much New HoriZUN costs? I want one =)
    Or two… XD

  • @laurene: I spy a spammer…
