Well, here it is! Yuka wants to prove to everyone that she is the strongest Youkai in Gensokyo. But is she really the strongest? That was a rhetorical question; go watch the flash and find out. It’s not as action-y as you might think. Anyway, the script was written by Kobayashi and slightly edited by me.

The original script had Nitori jumping up and grabbing the sunflower off of Cirno’s head, but I couldn’t figure out a way to have her do that without it looking awkward, so I added a robot arm to her hat. Because robot arms are cool.
The way it folded out is also mad cool >XD

That was excellent! For some reason it seems longer than usual since the previous ‘big’ Touhou flash, and this more than made up for it. =D
We finally saw some colour Wriggle cuteness too! =3 I’d really love to see a whole flash based around her.
Nitori’s robotic arm was a good touch, as many have said. Shocking animation with flashing skeleton was so much better than in ‘mof.swf’.
Cirno’s momentary improved capacity for intelligence was hilarious! Was she using her own brain cell working in conjunction with the sunflower for a total of 2 brain cells? It really made a difference. Similar to dual-core, I suppose.
The only downside is the destroying of poor Aya’s workplace… and the way that’s already happened. Although the plane Nitori made was great. I was really wondering how she was going to use Reimu’s door. Speaking of which, does Reimu now just reply to yes/no questions by the number of fires she lights on people’s heads, like 1=Yes? Similar to morse code…

I was expecting Yuka to kill Marisa with “ORIGINAL MASTAA SPAAAAKUU” or something. But very nice flash. You almost made me die from suffocation/laughing at the Cirno part. XD
@Acara: I thought about a part involving Marisa and using a chatroom version (mostly because I adore the screenname “LOLspark”. among the other hilarious sn’s), but I forgot about it/didn’t write it in before sending the script to Kirby. I think I had some other “Yuka vs. ???” scene ideas, but I can’t remember, so they must not have been funny.
Watching it again, the part that cracks me up most is when Cirno goes into seizures. That was a nice touch, Kirby.

As said previously, awesome work on the new shock/lightning effects. Looks much better than it did in the last flash. Love the “Yuka vs Yukari” reference. Not so much with “The cake is a lie” reference. Here’s my obligatory poor Alice comment. Overall, moe-psycho-flower-girl/10.

Nineball: I kind of added in “the cake is a lie” just because I stumbled across “funnel cake” and “obvious lie” and thought, “oh heck, why not?”. Still, I knew some people wouldn’t like it, so I tried not to make it a huge deal or a major scene punchline; just something Ran happens to say. I guess some people liked it though, so I don’t feel too horrible.
Anonymous: Yeah, Yukari was hallucinating an epic battle basically from the moment she saw Yuka.
Della: Yeah, I kind of regret not writing that. Still, it didn’t play into the “flowers = sissy power that does nothing” joke, so, eh.
Slowbro: That was the original idea. “Yuka’s like, the officially/unofficially most batshit insane scary Youkai… but seriously, how does *FLOWER* Youkai = Batshit Insane Scary Lady of Doom?”
Seniwa: I actually expected a whole lot more. And yeah, I realize that about half the flash was “lol, let’s reuse (with only the slightest of tweaks) pre-existing walfas jokes!” Particularly Aya’s house getting wrecked (which was necassary for the Keikaku Doori joke though) and Alice being ignored (which I suppose was just gratuitous).
Anyway, thanks everyone for your comments, and THANK YOU KIRBY FOR ANIMATING THIS (and fixing things (re:making them funnier/more awesome (go-go, nitori-arm!)! I’ll stop spamming up this response box and go work on my next project (hitting a pooshlmer near you!…eventually).
