While we’re on this subject, I guess I might as well post this video too. A chiptunes version of the song, hooray!
In other news, I went to a college open house and got back sorta late (well, “late” by my standards); it ended at about 8:00, but I had to wait about half an hour for the bus to arrive for some reason. Then I got home about fifteen minutes after that and had to go do homework and everything, so basically there was no time for daily-flash-making today. Well, at least the college thing was interesting, I guess.
We took a tour of the electrical engineering parts of the school, and in most of the rooms, they had all these fancy boxes with a ton of buttons and wires coming out of them, and I had no idea what they did, even after they attempted to explain it to us.
There were also a bunch of posters hanging around the student computer labs which I recognized: there were a few fractal posters (I only know what a fractal is because I saw a PBS Nova documentary about it a few weeks ago), some other poster saying “Resistance is Futile” with a picture of some guy’s face (which I assume is related to 1984), and a few potentially internet-meme-related things, like some sign that said “moar” on it. Anyway, yeah, I should probably go to bed, so that’s it for now.

I recognize some of the sound effects in the second video belonging to Gradius II for NES, particularly the final one (sound effect when your ship gets hit).
