Grade Analysis

This is a pretty accurate depiction of my (as well as many of my classmates’) thought process when it comes to test grades! I figure it’s impossible for me to get an A in chemistry with only one test left, but on the bright side, even if I get a 63 on the next test, I’ll still have a B average! And then I apply that same thought process to almost all my other classes! Probably not good to think that way, but it’s sorta comforting to know how much you can fail without failing!

  • Somehow people expect to keep their high school averages through college. Silly fools need to learn about survival.

  • So zeta true!
And looks like someone is taking it easy XD

  • Not taking it easy enough, I say. |3

Well … uh … Well, you know what I mean.

  • NoWaiThatsImpossible:O

when i see U.N. Character… it just makes me see how stressful cirno will be if she was in her shoes :<

  • Why is this so true? Hooray for failing!

  • I did that, except I tried to average out for a B or higher, lmao..

  • Don’t worry, your professor will curve your grade. Take it easy!

  • College is not just for learning subjects, it is for learning how to teach yourself those subjects after you graduate; or something like that.

  • One of the hardest things for many college students to learn is how to study. It’s arguably more important than learning your subject matter, because good study habits will help you do that anyway. My GPA suffered hard during my first year because I didn’t have proper study habits for college. If you’re still doing well enough to pull a B or better in all your courses, KirbyM, you’re doing okay.

  • That kind of thinking is dangerous! You will keep falling down after this!

  • Sprocket’s completely right. College classes require a different sort of “game” than high school classes, and you’ll likely need a quarter (semester?) or so to master the tricks of the trade. I’ve known very few people who didn’t have a bad to middling first quarter in college, and these were people with GPAs of 3.5 or greater. They’re not stupid; they were just noobs.

  • Poor unnamed…. she’s like me… I’d need to get a 10/10 in order to pass in physics xD

  • You are still young KirbyM-chan-san-samamenmanyo. I’ve done that since kindergarten ha ~ :D, yayz for mediocrity xD

  • Ish so true… Meza can feel the weight of studying which would bring chaos… XD

Its like the world is ending already

  • That’s how I suffered a D in one of my classes….

  • Can’t see it.

And I don’t care that Walfas is biased towards Firefox or some shit like that, I’m not going to use Firefox.

  • Hmm, for some reason, this isn’t showing up for me. Do i have to click on something for it to start?

  • Don’t make me remember that…

  • Oh man… here too? I’m sure I’ll get a high grade in Digital Electronics, but I failed so hard at Mechanics… sad X-Mas for me, ladies and gentlemen

  • @Mariku, Some–random–guy:
I have a bias of sorts toward Firefox—or at least against Explorer—myself, so I don’t have IE available to check, but for what it’s worth, it shows up just fine for me in both Firefox and Safari. It actually surprises me a little; I thought IE would display pages that other browsers wouldn’t, because it forgave sloppy page coding more, but not vice-versa.

  • “Each question is 1 point except for 3 to 7 which all together are one point and 8 with is 2 points. That means with the answers I have right now I’d only have to do the last one to get a 6.7 and pass”

  • I’m using IE and it works fine…

  • Ahaha, so really true, and given that we’re on finals now, grade analysis start flying around, especially if you’re close to repeat the course (which I don’t, thankfully~)

And I share your pain with Chemistry, KirbyM. ;_; I’d show you a poem about chem hate my friends did, but it’s in spanish.

  • Yeah, that was basically me in my last few semesters in college (the ones where it became, “ifIdon’tpassthisclassIcan’tgraduateohgodohgodohgodbreathebreathebreathe” when I took the highly-specialized department courses)… I would freak out about halfway through the semester thinking about how my grade was based on just a couple grades, and how I would fail if I did poorly on any of them, and then I would realize that, no, I DON’T HAVE TO GET STRAIGHT A’S. I just have to NOT FAIL. After that, I ceased to care about how I did on my tests, as long as I stayed above the pass/fail line…

    …still ended up getting straight A’s anyways…

  • I am… a little worried.

  • Funny how her outfit gets more wrinkled between each test… Does she wash her clothes?

  • perfect projection of me…

  • “My honors classes will fix my (weighted) GPA…”
Saving that quote for my senior year, when I wonder where it all went wrong.

  • Oh, for those who were wondering why the flash didn’t show up before, it’s ’cause I misspelled the URL in one of the fields, so it didn’t show up correctly in some browsers.

  • It gets funny when you see a really good student who needs…

Negative points in the last test to pass.

    What the? SURE PASS

  • @Kerigis: I could translate your poem if you want, Mu~

  • UNK seems quite stressed lol

  • I love how UNC’s ribbon gets more dissheveled as time goes on.

  • Ah yes, this happens a lot especially come finals time. Alternatively, it’s great to know you can make a failing grade can still get an A in the class.

  • Should have done better on those first two tests so you can pass with a 9 on the third :P

  • Well, enough of my whinning about no passing this year. Next year I’ll do something I haven’t done for eras… GOT TO STUDY!!! XD

PS: Don’t think about the future and the past too much or you’ll forget about the present.

  • Oh man… Story of my career in college… That last one was me for the entirety of the last month. lol
