College Orientation Cruise

Only after I got home and looked at the pictures did I realize that “Circle Line” sounds much like “Circle Nine.” But anyhow, today after an English class, as part of college orientation, the new students all went on a three-hour cruise that went from 6PM to 9PM.

I don’t go on boats much, but it always seems to take awhile to get used to the fact that the boat rocks back and forth so much. I dealt with it by standing near the window most of the time, because for some reason, standing up results in less dizziness. I took a bunch of photos on the cruise, mostly of buildings and bridges (I saw lots of bridges!). Also, whenever the cruise ship passed by people, a friend and I would wave at them in hopes that they would wave back. That was kinda fun, and I took some pictures of people waving back (though they were far away so the pictures weren’t that great).

There was food (some sandwiches, chips, soda), but for the most part it was kinda boring. Got to meet some new people, so I guess it wasn’t so bad. But still, it was mostly boring. That’s all, I guess! A but late to be making a daily flash or anything, so here‘s some photos. I like how the bridge photos were taken at the same (or very a similar) angle.
